Is the summit virtual or physical?
The Global MentorBridge Summit is primarily virtual but will be streamed from a physical location accessible only to people with the BridgePass Elite ticket.
The Virtual Summit will be streamed live on YouTube & Facebook and open to anyone with internet access. However, physical access to the location is limited to those with the BridgePass Elite ticket.
Growth & Structures is a business roundtable held in select locations within Nigeria as part of our outreach efforts to ensure the inclusion of participants from other cities in the program. It is an extension of the Global MentorBridge Summit, and attendees are encouraged to also join the Summit.
For all events, reservations must be made in advance to inform us of the number of guests to accommodate. Slots for the Virtual Summit and the Gala evening, however, are limited and typically sell out weeks before the event.

Jane Oma

Jane Oma Onyemenam, fondly known as “The Bridge Builder” has spent nearly two decades weaving connections between people, ideas and opportunities across continents and always with one goal in mind – sustainable growth. An Oracle-Certified Human Capital Management Consultant, she partners with organizations in Europe, Africa and Latin America to design and implement transformative initiatives in Change & Innovation Management, Learning & Development, Leadership Development, Talent Management, Organizational Design and Strategic Management. Her work thrives at the intersection of pragmatic strategy, adaptability and genuine human empathy, ensuring that every project she leads leaves a lasting, inclusive legacy. In 2005, Jane embarked on a life-changing journey when she relocated to Spain. With no university degree or knowledge of the language, she became self-taught; plunging into marketing, teaching, coaching and program facilitation to forge her new path.

Working with companies like Berlitz, Coca – Cola, Airbus and OHLA Group, she honed her active – listening – first methodology. These roles widened her skills and deepened her competence while also cementing her conviction that sustainable growth begins with truly understanding people. She also served as Executive Director of Elikia Energy and Director of Programmes at Joggle lounge Coach & Consult, and facilitated programmes for the Diversity & Innovation Academy and Universidad Menéndez Pelayo. She continued to pursue formal business studies while relentlessly learning and expanding her network. With resilience and grit, she turned adversity into opportunity, not only for herself but for the countless professionals she would later work with, consult for, or mentor.

Today, Jane serves as Senior Change Management Consultant at Business Innovation Consulting Group (BICG), leading high-stakes transformations for global institutions across Germany, Spain, Mexico, France and Italy. She guides C-suite teams through complex reorganizations and cultural shifts, blending analytical rigor with empathy to foster organizational resilience and unlock human potential. Parallel to her consulting practice, Jane shapes future leaders as an Adjunct Professor at Geneva Business School. There she brings real-world case studies into courses on Business Policy & Strategic Management, Change Management and Intercultural Psychology. Students attest that her classes go beyond theory: they cultivate curiosity, empathy, readiness for growth and adaptability; qualities essential for succeeding in today’s interconnected and constantly changing world.

Dr Agabaidu C. Jideani

Mr. Jideani is a distinguished leader with extensive experience in business and trade facilitation. As a seasoned lawyer and expert in compliance, ethics, legislative drafting, and anti-corruption, he brings a wealth of expertise to drive economic growth and foster ethical business practices. With a proven track record of advancing trade policies, promoting cross-border commerce, and supporting enterprise development, he has played a pivotal role in shaping a vibrant business ecosystem. He champions innovation, regulatory reform, and strategic partnerships to enhance global trade competitiveness while leveraging his legal and anti-corruption acumen to ensure transparency and integrity in commercial operations. Aside from Trade and Commerce, his experience spans Human Rights Law and Transitional Justice, Public Sector Reforms, Ethics, Regulatory Compliance, and anti-corruption Services; Capacity Development and Training; Citizens Engagement and Stakeholder Relationship Management; Company Secretarial and Legal Advisory Services, and Legislative Drafting Advisory.

On National assignments, Mr. Jideani was appointed a Director and Member of the National Space Council (2009-2013) by the late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua, GCFR. He served as Co-Chairman of the Access to Information Working Group of the Nigerian Open Government Partnership (OGP) National Implementation Team (2017 -2019), in which role He led the team that developed the “Mandatory Publication Requirement” tool and also led the training and capacity enhancement for staff implementation in the MDAs, and Mr. Jideani currently serves on the Governing Council of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) after Senate confirmation of his appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.

Dr Agabaidu C. Jideani

Amanda Etuk is an accomplished, results-driven business management professional with deep expertise in supply chain management, logistics, and distribution. Prior to joining Cascador, Amanda co-founded Messenger, a logistics platform that provides financing and aggregation for end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations. Messenger efficiently connects businesses to their customers through innovative logistics solutions.

At Messenger, Amanda successfully negotiated new businesses and partnerships with leading companies such as Jumia Food and Omnibiz. She launched M-Flex, a ground-breaking product providing short-term financing to logistics and mobility operators, addressing a critical need in the current economic climate. She led the development of a mobile application connecting individuals and businesses to nearby logistics assets. She secured funding and support from reputable organisations such as The Baobab Network, Nama Ventures Africa Business Heroes, Standard Chartered Bank and others.

Amanda brings her entrepreneurial insights and first-hand experience to her role as Program Director at Cascador, where she leverages her expertise to support and mentor aspiring entrepreneurs.

Prior to her entrepreneurial ventures, Amanda held senior roles at: 54gene, Zippy Logistics (now Loft Africa) and Hygeia HMO. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Lagos and a Master’s degree in Global Supply Chain and Logistics Management from the University of Sussex.

Olagoke Balogun

Olagoke Balogun is a dynamic entrepreneur and strategic leader with over 20 years of diverse experience spanning entrepreneurship, business development, operations management, strategy and consulting. As the CEO and Co-Founder of So Fresh, Nigeria’s pioneer and leading indigenous healthy food chain, Olagoke has transformed a pioneering concept into a thriving national brand with 12 locations across 5 states, over 150 employees, generating billions in yearly revenue, and a significant footprint in Africa’s healthy food market. Under his leadership, So Fresh has attracted over $2 million in investments from international investors.

Olagoke is the Founder and Managing Partner at Scaling Partners Consulting, a firm dedicated to helping enterprises achieve scalable growth and sustainable business transformation. Victor F. Adebayo

Victor Adebayo is a seasoned Human Resources and Business leader. His experience spans several industries including Oil & Gas, FMCG, Finance, Maritime Logistics, Consulting, Automobile and Manufacturing Conglomerate. He has held titles such as Chief Operations Officer, Human Resources Director and several others. His span of control and influence cuts across the entire African Continent and the Middle East. He led departments such as Strategy & Business Intelligence, Human Resources, Administration, Security, Safety, Health & Environment, Sales Operations, Manufacturing Operations and Distribution Operations.

He is an alumnus of organisations such as African Global Logistics, CIG Group Africa, Airtel Networks Limited, Summit Chanrai Group, FBN Quest Merchant Bank, General Electric Oil & Gas, Procter & Gamble, Zenith Bank and DTL Systems and Education Consulting. He led transformation projects in organisations such as Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, HealthPlus Limited and many more.

Babatunde Akin-Moses

Babatunde Akin-Moses is the CEO and co-founder of Sycamore, an award-winning peer-to-peer lending, savings and investment fintech platform that is bridging the gap in access to finance and investment options. The company has empowered over 300,000 people and businesses across Nigeria.

Prior to Sycamore, he amassed experience in finance and strategy, having worked at oil giant Shell, multinational consulting firms KPMG and PwC, and Pezesha – a fintech company in Nairobi, Kenya.

He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bowen University. He is also a chartered accountant and an MBA holder from Lagos Business School and IESE Business School in Spain.

He has also authored a book on economic principles and loves to write about business, policy and productivity, and has contributed to several national publications on these subjects.

Akin Morakinyo

Akin Morakinyo is a consummate professional and an experienced business leader. He has over 26 years working experience and a career trajectory built on grit and resilience.  He was appointed the Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria in November 2022, having risen through the ranks by dint of hard work and God’s blessings. In this capacity, he has contributed to the development and execution of the institute’s strategic focus in conjunction with the leadership and has upheld the sanctity/prestige of the institute’s membership making it an aspirational brand. Under his watch, the Institute has transcended new horizon, helping bankers gain competitive advantage.

Besides his experience at the Institute, Morakinyo was an Assistant General Manager at the United Bank for Africa, where he served as the Head of UBA Academy with responsibility covering 23 countries, where the organisation had its footprints at that time. Before venturing into banking, Morakinyo had risen to managerial roles within the hospitality and telecommunications industries. He was a pioneer staff at Econet Wireless Nigeria, now Airtel as well as Globacom Limited, where he oversaw training and development, quality assurance management, business process management, project management, MIS/IS support, workforce management and operations development.

Mr Morakinyo is a Chartered Banker, a member of the Chartered Institute of Directors, Nigeria Institute of Management, the Chartered Risk Management Institute of Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development; the Institute of Public Management; and the Project Management Institute, USA.

Akin Morakinyo sits on the Board of notable organisations, including the Global Banking Education Standards Board UK, Fintech Association of Nigeria, IOD Centre for Corporate Governance, where he served from 2015 to 2018. He is the current chairman of the Alliance of African Institute of Bankers (AAIOB). Akin is a recipient of several awards and prizes in recognition of his outstanding performance and excellent services, including the National Youth Service Corps award as the Lagos State Best Corper 1998/99 service year. He is happily married with beautiful children.

Muktar Mohammed

Muktar Mohammed is the founder of Finance with Muktar, a personal finance platform established to help people grow and change their mind set on finance. He is an International Finance and Economic Analyst on BBC Africa, Arise TV, Channel Television, CNBC Africa, Inside Africa on CNN, TVC and others, and also a stockbroker, personal finance coach, budget planner and an advocate for financial freedom!

A graduate of Geography and Remote Sensing from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, the CEO of Asher dynamics solution, he is a philanthropist, mentor, investor, husband, and the father of three lovely children. He believes that being a financial analyst is not just being on TV but making an impact on the younger generation and the masses on how to build their incomes to a fortune. It is his passion to give back to the society and make our country a better place.

Part of what he does is stock, investment management, consultations, evaluation of financial situation for clients, business analysis, planning and organisation and strategic management.

He is in partnership with several bodies across Nigeria and West Africa and has won several awards in different bodies including the financial services and insurance industry.

His interests include investing in the younger generation, reading, football, swimming and traveling.

David Lanre Messan

David Lanre Messan, often known as DLM, is a Nigerian entrepreneur, venture builder, venture studio operator, and startup advisor based in Lagos. He’s the founder and chief venture builder of FirstFounders, a venture studio and ecosystem collective focused on helping African tech startups develop ideas into investable businesses. Messan has a background in mass communication and has studied at institutions like Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Harvard Business School Online, and Nexford University. His work centers on supporting early-stage startups with ideation, fundraising, and growth strategies, aiming to build a robust African tech ecosystem while democratizing entrepreneurship and institutionalizing venture building across the continent.

He’s been recognized for his contributions, including being named one of Nigeria’s top CEOs in 2020 by Top 10 Magazine, Senator of the World Business Angels Investment Forum, and serving as a James Currey Academic Visitor at the University of Oxford’s African Studies Center in 2022. Messan is also known for his hands-on approach, having worked with over 250 SMEs and tech startups globally, raising significant funds for them. Beyond business, he’s engaged in creative pursuits like writing and has a history of public speaking at events like TEDx, World Economic Forum gatherings, Harvard Business School, Lagos Business School, Rome Business School, Mavin Records, MTN Blow My Hustle etc

He has served as a board member of Innovate Africa, United Kingdom, and as president of the LEAP Alumni, which earned him a seat on the board of LEAP Africa, and is currently serving as a member of the advisory board of the Lagos Business School Tech Leap Initiative. DLM is a certified skydiver, having skydived in the United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates.

Kelechi Deca

Kelechi Deca is a multi-lingual development journalist with special emphasis on global economy, geopolitics, multilateral development institutions, and human development.

As a journalist, he has covered the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) consecutively for 28 years, The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group for 25 years, The African Union (AU) Heads of State Summit for 27 years with huge institutional knowledge of these multilateral institutions.

In the course of his job, he has travelled extensively to 77 countries across five continents. He has co-authored Country Investment Reports for 22 countries in Africa and has worked on different development reports and projects for bilateral and multilateral development agencies. He has also conducted high level interviews of presidents and top global leaders under the auspices of the African Union Commission (AUC) and the World Bank Institute.

Over the years, he has acquired a vast knowledge of Africa focused issues: politics, trade, economics, and culture. He is a graduate of Foreign Languages & Literatures from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is presently the Editor-in-Chief of The African Economy magazine, Banking & Finance in Africa and the IMF/World Bank’s Annual Meetings Daily.

Aside from his day job, he is an amateur wildlife photographer, a conservationist and has written extensively on culinary culture, automobiles, culturenomics, and economic history of the Igbo, Nigeria and Africa.

He is happily married and a father of four young men.

Chinemenma Umeseaka

Chinemenma “Aunty Chichi” Umeseaka is a dynamic Media Executive, licensed Social Worker, and Certified Counselor with over a decade of experience advocating for teenagers, young adults, and families. She is the founder of *9ineteen Works*, an influential initiative that has empowered over 50,000 young people across Africa through mentorship, media, and community-based programs.

Fondly known as Aunty Chichi, she currently serves as the General Manager of Universal TV Africa, a youth-focused television station, and is the host of the popular radio and TV show, “Teen’s Time with Chichi”, aired across multiple states in Nigeria. Her engaging personality and deep understanding of adolescent challenges have made her a trusted voice among teens and families.

Beyond media, Chinemenma has served as Special Advisor on Teenage Matters and Gender to the Abia State Government and is the founder of several youth-focused platforms including 9ineteen Magazine, Society for Teens Development, and Nineteen Youth Foundation. A passionate social entrepreneur and public speaker, she also promotes sports development through her all-girls football clubs—9ineteen Damsels FC and Society Teen Girls FC.

Currently pursuing a second Master’s in International Relations at Liverpool John Moores University, Chinemenma holds multiple degrees in Mass Communication, Social Work, and Entrepreneurial Management. Her mission is simple yet profound: to nurture confident, responsible youth and build stronger, more resilient families.

Adejuwon Soyinka

Adejuwon Soyinka is a two-time Emmy nominated, multiple award-winning investigative journalist, television documentary producer and Regional Editor (West Africa) at The Conversation Africa, where he looks after teams in Nigeria, Ghana and Senegal. Soyinka also freelances as a senior producer for the BBC Africa Eye and India Eye – two London based, distinct, multi-award-winning investigative TV units in the BBC.

One of the most accomplished media figures in West Africa, with an incredible track record of exposing organised crime, corruption and human rights abuses in the region, Soyinka has over 25 years’ experience in digital, broadcast and print journalism, which includes being the pioneer editor of the BBC Pidgin Service – a new BBC department as part of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s expansion of the World Service in Africa. He has been a mentor to many staff members in the BBC, who worked with him as an editor in Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon between 2017 and 2021.

In addition to the Emmys, Soyinka has won 12 journalism awards including the One World Media Award for best investigative documentary, Association of International Broadcasting Award for most impactful documentary in 2019/2020, the Nigerian Media Merits Awards, Wole Soyinka Prize for Investigative Journalism and the Diamond Awards for Media Excellence.

Soyinka also has to his credit, 11 journalism award nominations including the Royal Television Society Award, the British Journalism Awards, an Association of International Broadcasting Award and a Grierson British Documentary Award.

Between 2015 and 2017, Soyinka was spokesman to the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and member, Ogun State Executive Council.

Soyinka holds a Masters in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, an MPhil in Leadership and Strategic Studies from the Nigerian Defence Academy, a Level 3 Award in Education and Training from NCFE, UK and is currently studying for a PhD in Leadership and Strategic Studies at the Nigerian Defence Academy.

Soyinka is a UK-based Global Talent in the field of film and television. He is passionate about storytelling and uses investigative and explanatory journalism as a tool for social justice and equity.

Ifeoma Malo

Ifeoma is an energy access expert and a climate action champion,. She has over 23 years’ experience, building and directing organisational operations and strategy, supporting start-ups and MSMEs across Africa.

In the past 10years she has become a recognized and credible leader in the energy and utility markets, working on the intersection of Energy Transtion, Energy markets, Energy and Climate Financing and Climate Adaptation markets.

She is experienced in political economy, energy policy and energy markets, developmental economy, climate and environment, sustainability, dispute resolution, process facilitation and organisational development.

Otto Canon

Otto Canon is a Global Sustainability Leader committed to restoring our fast-degrading environment from breakage and advocating for the propagation and integration of sustainable practices across the world. He is dedicated to driving transformative and lasting change through policy reforms across and amongst governments, corporations, and communities.

With over 10 years of experience as a social entrepreneur, community organizer, and sustainability leader, he has collaborated with multilateral organizations across various sectors to design, implement, and scale impactful social programs. His work has earned him several awards from notable institutions and leaders of nations.

He is the Founder and Executive Director of CleanCyclers, a social enterprise committed to building a planet where people and nature can thrive through innovative recycling solutions and large-scale afforestation programs. He is also the founder of SustainabilityUnscripted and the Convener of the Global Sustainability Summit and Awards, a premier platform that blends distinguished sustainability dialogue with the recognition of outstanding achievements in sustainability. Otto Canon is a Director on several boards, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), UK, and a member of the Nigerian Environmental Society (NES), Waste Management Association of Nigeria (WAMASON), Recycling Association of Nigeria (RAN), and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), UK.

Akorvueze Nwakanma

Akorvueze Chimankpa Nwakanma is a distinguished leader in Nigeria’s real estate sector, currently serving as the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Velox Holdings, a dynamic conglomerate with interests spanning real estate investment and property development, hospitality, agriculture, proptech, logistics and supply chain as well as the energy sector.

With over eight years of hands-on experience in property sales, acquisition, development, consultancy, facility management, and rental income optimization, Akorvueze has consistently driven measurable growth in real estate sales performance.

He holds a degree in Biomedical Technology and graduated as the top student in Laboratory Management from the prestigious University of Port Harcourt. He is currently advancing his expertise at Henley Business School, University of Reading, where he is currently studying Real Estate Investment and Finance.

Beyond his professional achievements, he is a devoted husband and father of two amazing children.
